Junior Seau, a homegrown superstar who was the fist-pumping, emotional leader of the San Diego Chargers for 13 years, was found shot to death at his home Wednesday morning in what police said appeared to be a suicide. He was 43. (May 2)

Luisa Seau, the mother of former NFL star Junior Seau, was distraught about the apparent suicide of her son, saying "I pray to God, please, take me, take me, leave my son."

I don't know curt if the brain trauma caused it or just the fact that he became depressed, I guess when you compete at a high level for all those years like he did then to just turn it off, that could cause severe depression or who know's maybe they both were factors.

Met him @ one of his resturants and what a down to earth, successful, happy guy. Wow! Never would have expected to hear this kind of news about him. Must be so heartbreaking for a mother. RIP Mr.Seau.
