Kai Green: A day in the life of a bodybuilder FULL LENGTH HD

Kai squatting 155 in that vid might make me re-evaluate my entire current program.

What do you guys think, I always hear that you must add weight to make progress, obviously Kai isn't doing that. So what is his progression? He's probably been able to squat 155x20 for years now, how does he grow?

... but it is important to focus on developing neural connections to your muscles, and making sure that they are doing the work.
 
Amazing video. Thanks very much for posting it. I really enjoyed hearing his philosophies on life and success more than anything. Makes me want to work hard and give it everything I've got. Not just in bodybuilding but in all aspects of life
 
you can clearly see he's squatting 4 plates with ease at the end of his leg workout... he's very very strong, so don't think that small weights = big muscles


his form is perfect, one of the reasons branch slapdick warren won't be able to touch his level

.Yeah but he is also squatting after he destroys his legs too. I started to do this to finish them and WOW it works great. I started to have knee issues from squatting. I got up to a 500lb squat and my knees would hurt for 2 days after. So I have been focusing on single leg leg press, hack squats, leg curls, left ext, also i think its the leg abductor the one that the girls use to work the inner thigh. This actually helped me add 1/2 inch to my legs. Looks gay but results are great. Then I finish with 5 sets of squats each set to failure with progressive weight. so 135 failure 185 failure 225 failure and so on up to 350.

Wow, not what I expected from Kai Green at all. I thought he was totally different. I now have a new found respect for him. Totally humble, give it all you got, kind of guy.

Exactly. I really liked his personality and demeanor in the video. He seems very thoughtful and wise. Can't believe this is the same Kai that fukked a grapefruit on camera
