That's because your hemoglobin A1c is high. Hgb A1c is a test used to monitor the blood glucose levels of diabetics and those who are borderline over the long term. They are typically tested every 120 days and results give doctors a picture of how well patients either manage their diet or take their meds. In order for your doc yo request that test you must've been diagnosed as borderline previously. Nothing else seems too out of range except cholesterol and a total of 224 isn't terrible but the LDL is a bit too high. Are you on trt or trying to get trt? If you are then test is low for trt if you're trying to get it then you are prob too high for most doctors to agree. Hope this helps

Yeah, I've been fighting that for 2 years. I'm 36. I could not find literature on what test score is optimal for my age.
