Ok before I start I know there is a whole 'Debate' of weather you can isolate the top and bottom etc etc... But unfortunately I am not THAT educated in the field of anatomy and general bodybuilding so here is my question....

Genetically I think my Upper portion of my chest is a piece of Sh*t. my chest looks like a backslash \ ..most people are generally like | ... and a litte more at the bottom, but I mean My upperchest area is AWEFUL i mean it sinks in, you can see the collarbone really clearly , my upper chest is like Sinking into my body lol...well not that bad, but pretty shitty man! I know that Incline bench presses are good and flyes, but could someone please give me some tips for how to overcome this problem, at least let me see a glimpse of hope
:(

any input would be appreciated.

Flys suck IMO. Do compound lifts, and go heavy as hell. Do inclines to hit your shoulders more, maybe the can help fill in the gap. Also, do heavy military presses, and flat dumbell presses. Also do declines. Do everything, and eat alot.

That is certainly an interesting article. And i am suspect to believe that the genetic predetermined shape of the each muscle will generally stay that way as indicated in the article, but I think by doing what Bigdyl suggests I could increase my shoulder size and mass (by doing inclines) , and by doing so obviously increasing my chest size too, which in the long run (With larger shoulder heads, as my shoulders don't lag with development) , the appearance of my lagging upper chest wont be so apparent ?

Put on 80 pounds of muscle? :)

that's possible, just going to take a while. :) ...and it is definately possible, i have a reasonably nice frame, just a fast metabolism, and I Used to have a very poor diet (too much partying) , might take a few years though ;)

Ok, coming from the side of the "debate" that I come from....

Take all flat movements out of your program for awhile and focus on all incline work. Here's a good routine for you:

High angle incline dumbell press
Low angle smith incline press
Incline dumbell flye/dumbell pullover superset

I have used this program with clients to balance out the unbalanced chest many times.
