clavicle is what I meant. I asked some gym bro and he said behind the head will give you more of that v look, so I thought about it for a second and realized I already had the v and never did it behind my head.

Making your lats bigger will give you the V look. That's a stupid comment by that guy.

I'm honestly kind of stunned that so many people are siding with lat pull downs over pull ups. Pull ups are much more intense and difficult of a lift for the entire back because you are forced to move your whole body around a bar, instead of move a bar around your body.

There are many different variations of pull ups. The only limit is your imagination. You can do more with a pull up bar/rack than you can with a lat pull down bar.

I find that a lot of people shy away from pull ups because they are hard. The pull up is the upper body squat. They suck, they are hard, but man up and do them for complete back development. If you cannot do enough pull ups to make it feel like you achieved sufficient volume, only then would I turn to pull downs. Look at the backs of gymnasts. You think they've ever done a single lat pull down? All pull up variations.

Chins were one of Arnold's favorite exercises, as for most of the older bb'ers. I personally think they looked better than today's guys.

I do regular chin ups at the end of my back/bicep day. I do 3 sets to failure, which is usually only like 6-7 reps per set.
