All,

Just heard on the radio that the Lawsuit to hold off the Ephedra ban was denied in court today.

It appears the lobbyists won out this time, go smoking, bad ephedra.

Assholes

damn i was wondering how this held up in court today...i wonder how good of a claim was made tho to try and prove its not as dangerous as sought out to be

well it will be banned tomorrow. what are all of the supplement companies going to do with all the left over ephedra products? i vote they give them to me.

titans I will take some of that too!

Not to put a political spin on this, but there goes another hit for the Bush administration. :gosh:

Fuckers.

if you have noticed, bush's polls on pple favoring his moves and actions has dropped quite drastically for the past 3-4 months..thank god!!!

Yeah, I thought for a while he would be reelected but god I hope not, we need to restraighten out this country before it goes to pot.

Losing the court case doesn't mean that ephedra is dangerous. I believe that in the case of the FDA, they switch the burden of proof. In other words, they're allowed to consider the supplement guilty until proven innocent.

I'm still waiting to see cases of ephedra deaths where the user didn't have pre-existing health conditions and didn't take something like 10 times the normal dosage (as in the case of some teenage girls when it was legal to sell to children).

rrgg, I completely agree

Do you honestly think John Kerry will be any better? He's even more liberal than Bush. There's really not that much difference between them, they're both a couple of corrupt losers, and neither of them will give supplements any help. IMO, Kerry's not a very strong candidate to defeat Bush, there's a lot of things Kerry can be attacked for, plus he has no real personality, charisma, or people skills that I've seen. They're both a joke. we shoud elect a libertarian.......

Ephedra is banned, not ephedrine which you can get from any convenience store. The gov't spent millions banning something that is not really banned. As far as politically driven aspirations, Bush and Kerry are both the same and it wouldn't of matterred who was in office. Let's face it, they both suck.
