leg spaze while injecting

Well as the title says, I was putting the needle in my left thigh as usual, test en 250, but when the needle was half way in my leg just spazzed out, so I withdrew it asap and applied pressure for a minute, and then injected in right thigh.

Should I be worried about the spazz? Also what was it?

I wouldn't be worried. It could have been a regular muscle spasm, or you could have been too anxious and/or nervous.

You'll be fine!

Probably hit a nerve. I have had this happen as well. It should be nothing to worry about as long as you where injecting in the correct place just freaks you out. The first time this happened to me I nearly passed out. I was still new to AAS and when it started to twitch I got all nervous and started sweating quickly. I had to lay down because I knew I was going to freak myself out to the point of passing out. I still finished the injection just backed the needle out slightly and pushed in the oil. It is because of issues like this that I don't enjoy injecting in the outer quads much anymore. I Still include them in the rotation just don't look forward to it .

I actually seem to get this more with my delt inj's, but you definitely just nicked a nerve. nothing to worry about at all.

TGB, had the same thing happen to me one of the first times i hit one, if I ever get the light-headed feeling coming on I find that lying down or leaning against a cold window/floor/wall or even just a cool damp towel on your head works great to calm down and let the feeling pass.

Exactly..... Laying down helps me usually. It is rare that I feel that way. Just one of those things that freaks you out when you are injecting. Not as bad as shooting blood out of the injection site though.

Spasm was definitely a nerve no worries.

Boy the first time you hit a vein and shoot blood all over the place it is real freaky. First time this happened to me it looked like a murder scene. My wife almost pasted out.

I guess i'm different than you guys. I like pinning my quads the most now, when I first started pinning quads hurt like hell but now I like em best. Just last night I hit a nerve but I pulled out and injected about an inch away no problem.

Hit one in my delt yesterday and did the same thing. quads are still one of my favorite places to pin and hitting nerves happens now and then; only a few times have I had the strange 'bout to pass out' feeling come over me. And even then, I let it pass and did the shot an inch over haha

When I hit a nerve in my quad I instantly realized what had happened because I had read about it here on IM. I actually pulled slightly back and then pushed back in again and watched my quad bounce and quiver again!! It was really quite cool. I pulled all the way out then injected a little higher up. That's also why I use a 25ga needle and push in slowly. I've heard of some guys pinning fast and hard and when they hit a nerve they actually broke the needle off in their quad. Now THAT would make me queazy!!!!

i think glute is very easy idk why. i tried quad to see if it was as easy as everyone said i pushed the needle in got about halfway in and it wouldnt go any further and hurt like a bitch pulled it out and moved it and tried again ass soon as the needle broke skin blood start drippin all over i said fuck it and went back to the glute lmao its slides in like butter

I absolutely agree with Vibrant. Pinned glutes and delts for years before I ventured to quads. Now I prefer quads over any other body part plus I have been able to do 2.5cc shots with no pain, that would feel like sitting on marbles if it went into my glute. I have hit a nerve a couple of times and I usually just back it out most of the way change the angle and push it back in.

The first time i had a squirter i freaked out. lol Blood squirted like 2 ft.
