I am looking for a new leg routine, and I know there is no such thing as 'targeting' fat loss and specifically leaning out an area, but I was looking to 'lean' out my bulky legs.

Can anyone make one up for me or suggest something? I am too far away from a gym at the moment, so if you can do one up that doesn't have weight, or does include dumbells/bar weights, that would be awesome.

Agreed.

Just run, run, run!

I would just suggest that you run on a treadmill and do lunges. Anything else, like using weights will just make your legs bigger.

are your legs fat? i have a hard time believing that they are too muscular/big unless they are fat. for women the legs are usually the last place to lean out.

so if the above is the case then i would suggest that you do some sort of exercise to induce hypertrophy in the legs, because the more muscle you have the easier it is to burn fat. but it sounds like you need to focus on diet and cardio

plyo's of any sort would kill two birds with one stone. you'll stimulate the muscles in the legs and you will be active enough to burn some fat by increasing your heart rate. all you need is a box or something solid thats about 8 inches high that you can jump on /off

First you say you know that spot reductions isn't possible. Then you say you want a leg routine to spot reduce the fat on your lower body. You were right the first time.

I think the only way for us to be able to truely offer expert advice, and come up with a plan, is for you to post pics.

I will tell you one thing sprints are not a good idea they make ur hammys and quads massive trust me my legs are so unproportional to my upper body and i have been just working my upper body for 1 year now but every time i tell some one this they just think i am retarted, i cant wear fitted jeans any more cause when i sit down i strech the shit out of them and they look like VV in stead of ll ll.

What's wrong with muscular legs on a female? A muscular upper body is does not appeal to me at all, but legs are hot.

Also, hypertrophy is a matter of diet. You could do the sickest bodybuilding programs in a caloric deficit (or at maintenance levels) and you wouldn't gain much, if any, muscle.

I've bveen circuit training my legs lately
my circuit usually consists of the following
- hip raises with plate on tummy
- donkey kicks on bench
- stiff legged deadlifts
- single leg deadlifts
- sumo squats
- finished with deep walking lunges until failure

I know everyone is wondering where squats are: I do a squat/deadlift only day once a week.

finished with deep walking lunges until failure

Oh, that's definitely going on the end of one of my two weekly leg days. Thanks for sharing.
