That cbs report isnt coming in...yet.

Anyone have the scoop in the meantime about why people were booing rampage?

People booed him because 99.9% of UFC fans buy the Chuck Liddell is the baddest man on the planet bs. They were in total shock.

Check out the post fight press conference on UFC.com.

Will do.

I found an espn view on dailymotion. "drinks are on the house, if you can find someone to buy you one."

I went ahead and watched the Jardine fight again. That was a good fight too.

And yes, the bar went wild when Din Thomas won.

What was up with Houston Alexander not gettin called for that illegal knee? It was clear as day. And supposedly James Irvin blew his knee out pretty bad, I guess it buckled backwards. Din Thomas calling out Mayweather and Cintron

Finally. I no longer have to hear "Silva took Rampage's soul" or "Rampage will never be the same after his loss to Shogun" or "Chuck was injured during the first fight!" Yada yada... I still will never bet real cash against Chuck because of his right hand but I did make a KILLING betting fantasy dollars on mmaplayground.com :thumb:

...I wouldnt so much call this an upset, but I think the majority of people would pick Liddell. However the majority of people probably wouldnt know all that much about Rampage either. Wish the fight wouldve atleast lasted for a few rounds, but oh well I am glad I didnt buy the thing.

Why would you be glad you didn't buy it? This was one of the most entertaining UFC events in awhile. If this one wasn't worth the purchase then I can't think of one that would be

all the fights were good. The last one was the best though. those leg kicks where mean as hell. the guy needed help just walking out of the ring, never seen that before. wonder how the leg looks today. best ufc event I've seen to date

80 percent on the espn throught Chucky would win, I wish the lines were like that.

Think there will be a rematch?

Bone? Vids? I want to see them again..

I didnt like the hit Chuck took...looked like a graze. Its almost as if Cuck was taken out by his own medicine, but my friend said there was an elbow on the ground that you can see that clearly made Liddell's arms drop.

I am as happy as a school kid..
See if this works ...

Hendo vs Rampage ... :clapping: ... this will be even better than anything we've seen lately from the top of the MMA food chain.

Silva KO'd Rampage, and Hendo KO'd Silva.

Liddell > Ortiz > Wandy > Rampage > Liddell

Liddell > Liddell

Because I wanted to see Chuck win and spending 40 bucks to see him lose would be a bit dissapointing to me.

It sorta works if you include common sense in the process. Wandy cancels out because he both won and lost to rampage. Leaves a break in your equation.

Regardless the fight still holds tremendous potential. Hendo holds the 185 and 205 Pride belts so the chance to unify the 205 division opens some doors in MMA.

Yeah I agree. I think it's the first good move Dana has made since the buy out. Other than putting Chuck in there against Rampage. :D

He was sending a bad message before with all the UFC signings he was making. Gave the appearance that he was trying to phase out PRIDE completely.

Now here's the question. Will they fight in a ring or cage and how can they justify having both belts on the line because of that very reason? Does Dana already have a master plan for this or is he finally just waiting to see how something will unfold?

The biggest money to be made would be for Rampage to win the Henderson fight, unify the 205 lb division, and have Henderson clean out the UFC 185 division. Then we all win. :D

Good job by Quinton. I was watching this fight at my boy's house and as soon as I saw Chuck throw that lame ass leg kick I knew he was scared. He got knocked flat. Is this boxing, blacks were 4-0 against whites in the fights. And to think that Quinton was maybe 5th best at at that weight in Pride.

Bring on Shogun v Rampage II....... NOW! Muay Thai clinch and some knee bombs and we have another new champ!

Fuck boxing!

Not sure I get what you said there. Looks like you're saying that blacks are 4-0 for some reason. You could look at it that way ... if you're black and you only look at those four fights. Or you could say that white boys have ruled MMA for years ... if you're white. Fact is though that color has nothing to do it. It's all about skill in the fight and drive in the gym. MMA is always changing at the top. I prolly misunderstood you though.

I don't intend this to take away from the main point of your post that Pride had a better rank and file than UFC. Most unbiased fans see it that way too. Nut huggers from both camps argue individual fighters, but over all Pride had it over UFC.

Five years from now? Who knows ...

so what will happen now will there be a re match and im I right in saying thats Brock Lessner in your sig Bone Crusher?

It was a joke, black fighters never seem to dominate like that. Obviously, it's just a coincidence and the match ups were right that night. But it felt like watching a boxing pay-per-view, all the cracker's got whipped. :(
