So I sit here daily trying to manage my fats proteins carbs calories and all that good stuff and I have come to a conclusion.. I can not get the necessary protein to help my cut, within my diet, without sacrificing something else... I'm looking for a good protein powder that's made for a cut cycle that can just get it done.. Right now I'm on 10g of fish oil and a multi v daily... Any advice? Thanks!

Protein powder while cutting? Ugh, I'd rather chew solid food! How about poached chicken breast, canned tuna, hardboiled egg whites?

ha ha.. Hotcha' so no go on the protein then... Figure it was worth the question.. But I've been having a problem meeting my protein needs and not over doing the fats or calories I'm trying to keep... Ill look more into boiled/broiled chicken and tuna and all.. Its just hard to do sometimes, between budget and life, eating like I need to gets TOUGH.. But it will be worth it...

Thanks, and it looks like I know how to get a fast answer around here now, just wait till 2 am!!!

Hey, you CAN use protein powder if you want to, it's just that it tends to make me hungry so I don't like to suggest it to others.

What macros are you shooting for?

hmm.. macros.. yeah i feel a little dumb now..:hmmm:

i believe youre talking like 2000-1800 kcal, 100g protein minimum and 100g fat and carbs, well they fluctuate too much... my actual numbers are a little lower as far as protein, and the cal/fat is over occasioonally but usually under those numbers

forgot to add.. taht im not doing this as a meal replacement (though i can only do 3 meals a day, so if i do one or 2 daily, it might qualify) but regardless, this is more for the protein value so i can keep some muscle while trying to cut, instead of continously working againsy my own body

Okay, so you're cutting but you don’t know what your intake is?

Jeeeze, Built....Don't you know that as a Mod it is your job to know everyone's macros intuitively, if not via your special psychic Mod powers?:nerd:

I've been waiting for you to figure out my macros for weeks now.

beautifull... thanks guys..
ok so i BELIEVE my macros for the past months would be as follows

1900 cal : 85 protein : 105 fat : Carbs 115-140 (depends on the day, workout and carb craving)

that sound better?

Surprising how?

well, as I'm sure you know, it's gemma protein... plant based, which you notice as soon as you smell it. The taste itself really isn't too bad... but then again, I drink shakes so fast that I can't really taste them anyway... however it has an aftertaste that kinda lingers in the back of your throat for about 30 seconds that is almost identical to the 'organic smell' of the powder.
At first, I didn't think I'd be able to handle the aftertaste, but now I've actually become acclimated to it to where I don't even notice it.

yeah all just stick to optimum on whey

if everything (or at least half) of the statements about it are true, it is worth the shot.. recently i switched gears from researching anabolics to researching NATURAL things, since i dont have the sack or the dough to try anything crazy, and it looks like isolates like this could be a beautiful thing if used right.. looks like i will be picking up a bottle in a week or two..

ohhhhhh boy.... I've been using it for 4 whole days now....
it's.......... different.

ok so im ordering or picking up lipotropic this weekend.. how do you dose it? i know scoop water/milk/shake what have you, im asking what YOU do.. how much how often?

THANKS!
