some people have the problem of loose skin around there mid section.
They lost some weight and now the skin kind of hangs on them.
What can they do to get rid of the loose skin around the mid section?
and is there a way to tight n the skin in one part of the body (abs, butt, etc)?

Just give it time,it should eventually "tighten" up, their someway of rubbing some vitamin on someone will post that later i just cant think of it:D

thanks Man, dont forget to post it.

If anybody knows of any products that tight-n your skin , please post it.

when you say just give it time how long does it take for the skin to tight-n up and how tight can it get naturally?

She wants the skin on her stomach to be like tha back of her hand.lol

I really cant say how much fat has she lost, it it was a lot then possible a long time, if it wasnt that much then maybe a short time...Im tired and is half asleep forgive me if i am wrong

I just got word that Preperation H works very well.
Tight-n s the skin on your stomach, thighs, but and makes the skin smooth.

Anyone hear the same thing?

There really is nothing to do. If a person loses a lot of weight very quickly, before the skin has a chance to keep up and 'shrink' along w/ the rest of them, then it becomes loose. Preparation H will tighten the first layer of skin, but it certainly won't get rid of all the extra skin.

The best thing she can do is build muscle to 'fill' up the space....over time the skin will appear tighter and will eventually 'shrink' back a bit....it really depends on how much there is I guess. I've heard that Vit E and Cocoa butter lotions help, but I can't say whether this works or not.

Tightening of this skin depends on the following factors...
-age
-natural elasticity of the skin
-how much weight was lost
-how fast the weight was lost

Regardless, it is hard to say how well and how fast the skin will tighten up. You must simply give it time. Vitamin E cream might do some good, no miracles...Prep H works ok as does Thiomucase cream, but these are temporary aids...time is the only "cure."

for my first show back in 95 i dropped 50 lbs,i had alot of loose skin,Prep H is a tempary fix.i still have some loose skin but its not as noticable now so give it time and DONT gain the wt back:thumb:

I had alot of extra skin after having my second child.. Still have a little pooch there and probably will keep it. My doc told me to drink lots and lots of water to keep the skin healthy so it would retain natural elasticity..

Prep H

Well I know a man (in his late 50's and has body that looks the the guy in the bow flex commercial, ya like that guy looks like that from bow flex) anyway who has done more shows than 5 guys combined and he uses prep H so many hours before a show and he swears by it.

Yes, like it was said prep H works for that type of thing, but it's not going to do a damn thing for a person who's lost 50lbs and has rolls of skin left over. :)
