Losing weight? please help

I read alot of stuff on losing weight, but I want to know from everyday people, what should I do to lose weight?

Cadio and no carbs? (I want to keep the little muscle that I have for now)
 
Create a calorie deficit.Burn more than you take in.To lose fat do cardio and get on a low cal. high protein diet ,drink a ton of water,Zig zag your carbs(high for 2 days followed by lower for 3 days),Don`t eat junk.There are a lot more but I would have to write a book.
 
1. Figure out your BMR (daily calories)
2. Formulate a sound diet w/ appropriate macro ratios
3. Eat 5-6 small meals per day
4. Train with weights
5. HIIT cardio 2-3 time per week
