So here's my issue, for the past 2 1/2 week I have been working out about 4-5 times a week and during work outs I mainly focus on stomach and arm training and I don't do any cardio exercise, But I keep on losing weight.. I went from 168lb to a rough 160lb in 2 weeks... now I'm sure I've lost a bit of fat because my belt doesn't fit anymore but it seems I'm losing more weight than anything else... so is this normal ? I'm trying to put on a bit weight to bulk up but it isn't working out, I'm 6,2" now 160lb and 17 years old, my diet goes as such, every morning I drink a whey/protein shake, for lunch its usually a sandwich or a salad and for diner its usually a big bowl of pasta or lots of meat and I drink about 4 - 7 bottle(591) of water a day and all that water is just because I am using accutane, I rarely if never eat sugar.. well except in fruits and haven't drank anything else than water in 6 months..

Maybe the weight I'm losing is in fact fat but at what point will it stop ? cause I'm 6,2 another 10 - 15lb and I will look anorexic..
Should I keep losing the weight and once I'm skinny enough put on more weight for mass building ?!? cause for now I can easily feel some fat covering my muscles on my arms and on my stomach.

SORRY If I'm not making too much sense, its a little hard to explained myself in english

Oh youre making perfect sense. Just like so many others. You simply don't understand.

Sounds like youre getting a tops of 1500 calories. It probably takes you 2000 at least to stay alive and well, so where do you think your extra weight is going to come from? Obviously you haven't done much research but at least you came to a decent forum now. You need to know how many calories it takes for you to stay at a given weight. This is your maintenance level of intake. This is an important number to know.

I don't know where you got the idea of eating a big bowl of pasta from. Start eating a solid food breakfast, meat and oatmeal and fruit or something similar. Eat balanced meals, with a good carb, lean meat, and some veggies. Keep in the good fats and don't worry about eating low fat everything. You need to keep track of your intake in order to gain quality weight. Youre basically wasting away eating that little. Thats why you're confused. Most of us recommend FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal Check it out. In any event, you need to eat about twice as much as youre eating and I don't even know your maintenance level.

Plus you need to get a real workout plan with some deadlift and squat type movements. These exercises will help you keep weight on your whole body, and they are two of the best exercises on the planet. Each forum has "stickies" at the top and they can provide you with much needed knowledge of the basics.

I agree, you're definitely not getting enough calories if you want to gain weight.. It's good that you've got a decent diet but you just need to eat more than you're burning in a day so that you can pack on some muscle.

Another good spot to look for calorie info is the Nutrient Data Laboratory

Once you get your diet straight follow what Merkaba said about exercises and stickies..
