is it ordinary to lose strength and that your numbers drop while u are cutting?? i've been cutting for about 2-3 months and lately i began feeling that i lost some strength and my weights dropped.....my bench went down from 210 x 6reps to 187 x8 reps.........i started skipping some meals and doing some crap lately wich i think helped my strength loss.... but again is strength loss and lossing that amount of muscle mass while cutting??

Very normal.....best way to see if you are losing too much is figure your body weight vs bench..I.E.
Before diet

Wt 195....Bench 185x8

After diet

Wt 175 Bench 175x8

Pound for pound you are stronger.

It can happen, but don't let it get out of hand. At a certain point it will be an indicator of muscle mass loss. Sometimes when you introduce carbohydrates back into your diet at a higher level your ability to lift weights for repetitions will go back up due to the energy system in use during moderate to higher repetition training.
