Any ratio will work when done right. It depends on your goals, your metabolsim and your preference. There are many ways to cutting and bulking and finding out what works best for you mentally and physically is trial and error.
i see! well im around 150 pounds right now and am wanting to bulk while putting on the very least amount of fat possible. what is a guidelin ratio for this? I checked out the bulking with slow burning carbs thread but am not sure how to manipulate it to suit myself.
If you want to bulk with minimal fat gain then that is a good plan. I answered your question that you posted in that thread. I would try it out and adjust as needed.
