I think i mentioned this in another thread but now im talking specifically about it. Heres the info for it: http://www.vistamagonline.com/articles/page.php?tp=1&p=1&id=7&s=magnesium_creatine_for_energy i donno if its just a fad or what but anyways i got some for really cheap.

The thing is, per serving it has 2.5g of creatine and 400mg magnesium  . Would it be unsafe to take 2 or even 3 servings of this stuff pwo? (1200mg magnesium seems quite excessive). Should i supplement calcium too?

Has anyone heard of something similar to this? Opinions?

From supplement watch...

A few studies have suggested a potential role for magnesium supplements in energy metabolism by showing an increased exercise efficiency in endurance athletes. In general, however, there is no overwhelming evidence to suggest any increases in muscular strength or boosted energy levels following magnesium supplementation.

Safety- Excessive magnesium intake can cause diarrhea and general gastrointestinal distress as well as interfere with calcium absorption and bone metabolism. Since there are no known benefits associated with consuming more than 600 mg per day of magnesium, higher intakes should be avoided.

lol... the stuff is prolly garbage. I have a full container of satur8 sitting on my dresser. Perhaps i should opt to use that instead unless anyone can convince me otherwise.
