Ok, it seems like everyone is always either bulking or cutting...but say you get to a point where you are satisfied with your body and just want to maintain...how would you go about this? I mean, when you're bulking your goal is to increase the amount of weight you lift every week..but if you are just maintaining your weight, you aren't going to put on any muscle, right? So do you just go to the gym and lift the same reps at the same weight every week? And do you go to failure ever, or what? Is it possible to gain strength without putting on weight (and gaining fat)?

I would probably stick to the same weights, but still change my plan every 8 to 10 weeks anyway. You could keep striving for very small incriments, just to keep your body on its toes.

That being said...
I doubt there is any person in the world completely satisfied with their body.

Not true, when bulking your goal is to increase your BW, more importantly your lean tissue, not neccessarily to try and increase the amount of weight you are lifting.

Yes, you can gain strength without putting on muscle. One of my training partners has no interest in gainig weight so he does not eat for it. But, he trains for strength and trys to increase his lifts all the time. Size ony happens if you eat for it. Size and strength are not directly related, the intramuscular connection is more advanced than that.
