Here's my math calculations for my maintenance (I am cutting so I want to go about 20% below).
BMR (men) = 66 + (13.7 x weight in Kg) + (5 x height in cm) - (6.8 x age in years)
My BMR came out to be 1,232.
Now I calculated what I thought was my activity levels, which according to the list provided on Tatyana's post is " very active BMR x 1.725 hard exercise/sports 6-7 days/week" because I lift every day besides one for about an hour and do HIIT/hills/cardio.
I calculated and got 2,125 calories.
Now, since I want to lose some body fat, I must lose weight! So, therefore I must take my calories down by between 10% and 20% which is 1,700- calories. So that means I must cut between 1,700 calories and 1,915 calories.
Does this look right???????
I have fit day so I should be able to track my progress!
