Manny Pacquiao Vs Floyd Mayweather

Ehh, maybe for one event.

Pac man would kill Floydie. That's why he backed out of the fight. Mayweather is a damn good fighter but Paquiao would win. He's just as fast as Mayweather, a lot tougher, a lot stronger, and a lot meaner. Floyd is scared to fight Paquiao and it wouldn't surprise me if he never fight him so he can keep his perfect career.

i thought pac man did not want to agree to olympic testing for the fight and thats the reason the fight didnt happen... if i recall he actually wanted to set the timeline for the piss test leading up to the fight? pac man is a beast but why not take the olympic test? 4get the bs about needles and lack of energy non sense...

Pac man wouldn't take the testing because it's against his beliefs to do it or something like that? Mayweather is the one who actually backed out of the fight, not Paquiao. Now honestly he should just ball up do it for this one fight because it will be the best thing for boxing in a long time.

yes he backed out of the fight because pac man refused to take the olympic testing... pac man didnt refuse the testing because of his beliefs.. he claims he had concerns about lack of energy from multiple blood test while training and leading up to the fight.. lets be real dude... whether you like mayweather or not to say he's scared is bs! this dude is a professional and will be in the hall of fame... they would be splitting a $40million dollar post and pac man refuses to take olympic testing? man please! i could argue that pac man is juicing and didnt want the random test because he would be exposed.. pac man won against clottey and it went the distance.. if you saw that fight clottey wasnt aggressive, he stood upright with hands in front of face waiting on a one hitter quitter. he isnt anywhere close to mayweathers skill, power, speed, agility etc... mosley agreed to olympic testing and that fight is going down...

for the record im a fan of pacquiao (i have thought about the rumors of doping though) and im a mayweather fan as well.. pac man agree to the testing and the fight will go down!!
 
Pacquiao is like the Philippine Jesus. He's such an amazing person and does so much for his community on top of being an amazing boxer. There is no way in he is doing anything illegal. Plus if he was he'd be caught by now, Olympic testing or not.

Also when I say Mayweather is scared of Paquiao I don't mean scared to get his ass whooped. I mean he is scared of losing to Paquiao and he knows that Paquiao could beat him.

I think that's the reason Fedor Emelianenko refuses to come to the UFC even though they offered him a bigger and better contract than whoever the hell he works for now. Fedor is scared to take on Lesnar because he knows Lesnar could beat him.

**Note: When I say "could beat" I mean has a good chance of beating. Not would beat him.

there is no way he's doing anything illegal? how you are so certain? is it not possible to have a pro career in any sport and not get caught doping? lets be real... im sure in the history of sports there are many athletes that have juiced and not been caught.. pacqiauo may be an awesome dude in regards to what he has done for his country but that doesnt make mean the dude isnt doping... i see your perspective and this is just my opinion... i do agree with you in regards fedor and the ufc

please name the fighters that he has ducked... sounds like pac man is ducking fairweather... if he had agreed to the olympic testing as mosley has then the fight would have taken place...
 
first off, pacquiao is the champ. he's the one with the belt, so why should mayweather be able to call the shots? pac dont need him, he's already pound for pound. mayweather is the one that needs him. for various reasons, including a big paycheck. pac dont need to make money off of mayweather, right now he's the money. thats one reason every one wants to fight him. it's a guaranteed big payday. clottey never seen money like that before. pac mistake was getting caught up in mayweathes games. he should have kept a firm no to olympic drug testing without making any reason, because the more he talks or negotiated, the more he made himself look guilty, regardless of the truth. sometimes its just better to keep ur mouth shut. and the bs about pac asking for what, i think a mil for each pound mayweather goes over. c'mon, thats not even a bargaining ploy. mayweather is supposed to make weight. we all saw what happened with marquez. mayweather played it smart and pac knows that. bachking out of the fight could be an option too if mayweather didnt make weight. pac was only making sure what should not really be an issue. olympic drug testing is not commissioned, so why does he have right to ask for it, especially with no other reason but that he's gotten to good. which mayweather says he's not. mosley has no choice. he is already known to have used peds. he wants the fight bad, and he might not have the same issues as pac. he's getting old. and mayweather has no choice now but to request olympic drug testing from his opponents. nuff said.

your right, pac man is the champ... floyd does not have the belt bcuz of the brief retirement... floyd has a right to negotiate bcuz pacman wont see a payday like the one he would see for fighting floyd.. floyd was also voted the best pound for pound fighter from 2005 to 2008 (ring magazine).. i could be wrong but i dont think pac man has ever made 25mill from a purse but floyd has (gatti) so your comment in regards to fairweather needing pac man for pay day doesnt make sense... the fairweather v mosley fight will definitely draw more attention than pacman v clottey in regards to ppv hits as well... this will almost guarantee that fairweather v pacman wont happen... your right about olympic testing not being commissioned in the states but we have to agree that random blood test are much more reliable than scheduled piss test? why do you say mayweather has no choice but to request olympic drug testing?

when i said mayweather needs the money, is because he's out of it. mosley will also give him a nice check. but fighting pac would have made the biggest payday for him as well.. pacman can make his own money. i guarantee you, when he's done fighting, he'll be the next president of the philippines. so, i dont think he's worried about money.

mosley vs. mayweather is definitely gonna generate more buys than pac/ clotttey. clottey really has no name. the fight did bring in 700,000 ppv buys though, and assume all were for pacquiao. both mosley and mayweather are top fighters, so of course thats gonna bring in big bucks. another reason is, more people want to see mayweather get knocked out than win. i dont like him and i would buy ppv just to see him lose. also mosley looked great in his last fight against margarito especially with the circumstances with the wraps.

as far as olympic testing, it is more reliable, but it's not required right now. so it really shouldn't be an issue. i would understand mayweather wanting him tested if he had some sort of proof or even a reason for suspicion. pacquiao agreed to some sort of testing but mayweather wouldnt budge on that. many argue that he can test clean after a few days, so testing immediately after the fight is just as unreliable. that is just ignorant mayweather thinking or his clever mind games. if that was the case, he should be tested every other day.

mayweather has to request the drug testing, because it would look bad if he didnt. he accused pacquiao with no solid proof. if he didnt request the next fighter to be tested, it would look like he was singling out pacquiao and admitting his fear to fight him.

also, the pacquiao clottey fight was boring, but now we have an idea of how pac will do against a defensive fighter, even though you really cant compare clotteys defense to mayweather. but that was exactly how i would have pictured pac and mayweather, except mayweather would look good defending. i can now see pac winning by decision if not by knockout.

..and pac, by far, had more exciting fights, and wars. always looking for the next big challenge(clottey looked real big in front of pacquiao). mayweather looks good and fast, but has a big mouth and no heart. technically he is a great fighter, but i dont think he produces great fights. and he cherry picks his opponents.
 
my friend pacman and fairweather were to split a $40 million dollar purse 50-50... so this would not have been fairweathers biggest pay day... he got $25 million fighting gatti... there is one thing we do agree on and that is the pacman v clottey fight was boring... very boring... considering he clottey was a 5-1 underdog i didnt expect to see it go the distance... as far as the president of the phillipines, who cares? is it possible fairweather may have asked for the olympic testing bcuz mosley has been busted for doping?

fairweather does talk a bunch of shit but im not going to say the dude is a lame boxer or scared because of that... i think both of these dudes are excellent at their craft.. two different styles and both will be in the hall of fame

im still waiting on the fighters that fairweather has had a history of ducking?

im pretty sure lesnar isnt even fighting because he has some disease or something. pac man would win mayweather knows it so why tarnish your record with a loss

Lesnar is back and training again. His diet consisted of little to no fiber a die which pretty much but a hole in his stomach. He changed his diet and got a lot of attention and care from some great doctor's and is fine again. I don't know if he is fighting anytime soon though. I heard his next fight will be against Shane Carwin like it was scheduled before his setback.

Mayweather should fight Paquiao because it would be great for boxing. I know it would be cool and all to be undefeated throughout your career but if you didn't fight the best fighters why be undefeated? It makes you look like a selfish pussy.

Carwin is fighting this Saturday and if he loses, no one will think he deserves a shot at the title.

Why is this thread still alive? The fight isnt scheduled and if it were, it would just be a dance fest anyway.
 
Lesnar fights the winner of Mir vs Carwin sometime late summer/early fall.

I'm actually looking forward to Mayweather vs Mosley.
