Just a intro here:
I was writing a new workout, and I got my friends Dad to look it over (he used to own a gym and trained competitors), and he said it wasn't bad, but the wrong workout for what I want to achieve. Basically I had chosen 2-3 muscle groups for each day on the split, the workout went somethign like this:
group 1
group2
group1
group2
I thought it would be good to have a bit of a rest for each muscle group in question, but he said that it was good, but not for building mass. Any comments?

i was wondering towards if it is better to go say do 3 sets of chest, then 2 sets of bis; or something like: chest, bi, chest, bi, chest. Is the separation beneficial, or would i be better without it?
