Hi there,
I was on registered on this site a few years ago under username APG. I am now trying YET AGAIN to sort out my diet and achieve my potential. I am around 210lbs at the moment but want to put on muscle and bulk up. I have used the cal. calculator on maximuscle to see how many cals I should be consuming per day. Is this correct?!
Thanks
Paul
Based on the preceding numbers, you should try to eat calories per day, divided into meals of calories per meal. Since your lean mass equals pounds, try to get at least this many grams of protein each day.
Daily Total:
Calories 4776
Carbs 576g
Protein 231g
Fat 172g
Total 979
Per Meal:
Calories Grams
Carbs 96g
Protein 39g
Fat 29g
Total 164g
4.1 litres of water
Based on your body weight, you need to drink this much water each day:
Cups
Pints
Litres
REMEMBER:
Protein calculations are based on a figure of 2.5 grams per kilogram of bodyweight
Carbs and protein each have 4 calories per gram
Fat has 9 calories per gram
Get at least 8 hours of sleep each night
Avoid eating high glycemic carbs, or simple carbs, such as sugar, fruit,
sweets, or cakes except right after weight training
