It sounds good if you're getting rid of violent criminals, pedophiles, etc. The problem is how long would it be before some idiot gets put in charge and starts sniping away at normal, hardworking people. It's like the t-shirt that says, "we don't need gun control, we need idiot control." It sounds good until an idiot gets put in charge and starts dictating who's the idiots. It's a double edged sword on that because that scenerio could happen in any situation from a manager, ceo position all the way up to a leader of a country.
