What are the best precautions?

I know of NAC and milk thistle.

Not necessarily (I do not think). Primobolan (methenelone) carries a methyl group but is not 17 AA.

This is what a take by Nature's Way...
Each capsule contains: 175 mg of Milk Thistle seed extract standardized to 80% silymarin delivering 140 mg silymarin in a base of 180 mg Blessed Thistle herb and millet.

I take roughly six tabs/day while on orals. Otherwise I'm taking the recommended dose.
