Is it ok to mix the protien and creatine together? I've heard both sides, its ok to, and that its not good because the protien makes it hard for the creatine to be asorbed. any advice?
Just don't mix coke cola with creatine in, with milk with multivitamins in with water and drink them all at same time... I tried it, and it wasn't a nice experience :S
(Who in their right mind would drink milk with coke and water)
Creatine is a part of my post-workout shake ... with protein, skim milk, glutamine, BCAA powder, and some dextrose. Seems to work out just fine ...
I've never heard anywhere that protein hinders creatine uptake. In fact, I've heard that 50g protein and 50g carbs will give you the same spike as 90-100g high GI carbs, making the creatine absorb much better.
