Hey all, Have a question for you. I have been working out with a friend in the mornings and he said that we should swap out what machines we use to do cardio. For the first week we used the stair master. So far this week we have used a different machine each morning, and I have noticed a huge difference in the workouts. He said that you body will adapt to and somewhat cheat if you use the same machine for a while. Therefore this will lessen the intensity you would normally get. I was a little skeptical at first, but after this week it seems like there is a huge difference in the intensity of the workouts. Just curious as to what you guys thought about this.

Anytime you add variety to your workout, it's a good thing. I don't know if your body gets "used to" a cardio machine. If you start to master something, I would think that means you are improving. As long as you get your heart rate up and work up a good sweat, I don't think it makes too much of a difference how you do your cardio. Just my opinion.

Ya, I agree. Variety is always good. Personally though, I find that certain machines (especially the stairmaster) give me better work-outs than others, so I stick to the machines I like.

MASS ABOVE ALL

Yeah I get bored easy so I love to switch around. This week I did 25 minutes on one of those mini trampolines. Good work you and boy do you ever feel disorientated when you get off it.
