OK...

My friends middle aged MOM needs diet help...

What would the experts say are acceptable daily measures
of standard macros..

Or RECD measures

For a person who exercises regularly (stricly low impact) 3-4x/week...
Is not obese... 5'7-125-130
And has no health issues...

What kind of diet? She doesn't need to lose weight that's for sure.

healthy maintainance...

Just some general macros for a woman her size/age

Like sticky facts
fats...
cholest...
sodium...
carb...
protein...

I'll keep my mouth shut... :shhh:

Ok, one more question - what does she eat now?

Supposedly they want to get her away from processed foods
And her husband loves cakes and pies

Well a balanced diet of course. Given her age, I'd say probably bout 1700 cals would be a place to start.

Protein 120G
Carbs - 200G
Fats - 55G Fat

Protein from lean meats, eggs, legumes, tofu, soy, cottage cheese
Carbs the usual - oats, sweet potatoes, red potatoes, whole grains, brown rice, milk, yogurt, fruit, spouted breads, starchy veggies and fibrous veggies
Fats - Fish Oil (6 per day) flax oil, olive oil, nuts, avacado's, hard cheeses

Dietary cholesterol has no effect on blood cholesterol levels.
Sodium max 2000mg day
