Just wondering how horrible it is to eat these. I generally have them on a whole wheat bun. They taste amazing, but would it be bad to eat 1 or 2 of these a day? (along with other foods of course).
I'm still pretty new to all of this nutrition and bodybuilding stuff so go easy on me.

Ok...

Well... In terms of eating processed crap - they are not too bad. They are not packed full of trans-fats or high fructose corn syrup or the like... And their protein sources are pretty good (mostly soy isolate & concentrate - which are actually pretty good protein sources in terms of availability and utilisation).

But they do have a pretty high content of fat in relation to their protein content (9g fat for every 16g protein) - which is a problem.

In comparison to having a can of tuna, some salmon or a grilled chicken breast?? No comparicon really - the real food wins out every time.

Would I eat them? - Hell no. Too much junk, not enough protein and too much fat in them for my liking...

I certainly would not have 1-2 a day.

But if you want to include them in your diet - and you are not getting ready for a competition - then you could... But I suggest you do so carefully (and may be think about only having them once or twice a week). Just ensure they fit in terms of your overall macro-nutrients and calorie content... and add a bit more protein to the meal too... ;)
