I was at GNC and saw they had this liquid multi colodial mineral formula with like all the minerals, would this be benefical to throw into my protein shake for post workout?
I'm not sure about what you saw but I take multi-minerals. I take them with the last meal of the day to replenish all the minerals I pee'd out from the 6L of water
The book "Secrets of soviet sports fitness & training" states things that russian olympic athletes took minerals and vitamins post workout and it helped them, i take vitamins already in powder form in my post workout shake already so i'm good on that, but i'm wondering would the minerals do anything to help recovery, also this is the vitamin i take, it's supposoto be time realesed over six hours, does it have enough minersl in it http://www.gnc.com/productDetails.asp?id=170112
