politics in the US will eventually send this country back into the dark ages.
because of the low
national savings rate since the 80's and the low rate now at 5% and most of that coming from earners at the top of the wage ladder it will never be more affordable to do such in the future than it is today, especially with the anti-taxers pushing for lower taxes (instead of the obvious higher wages), etc. the US of the future is going to be a total shit hole.
