Ok so I have recently taken some new pictures of myself to see my improvements and I think I have been doing ok for an amature. My diet has helped a ton and I have gained just about 20lbs and dropped my bf% from 20-18. And I have to say thanks to Jodi and everyone else for everything they have helped me with.
I started with a really clean bulk of just veggies, brown rice, and chicken/steak. I got help from Jodi with the micro breakdown and she taught me tons so I could learn to manage it without asking her every step of the way.
My diet now consists of 2 full eggs and 4 whites, half cup oats, 6oz lean meat or chicken. Then I do like 10-12oz lean meat with a cup-cup and a half of brown rice or yams and some veggies. Another favorite is my tuna from the can or mixed in with some shredded lettuce and tomatoes with some O&V. But I don't just stick to those, through here I have learned what is good and isn't and have learned to cook a variety of new things which includes my new favorite meal, healthy stew heh. I just mix all my meat, veggies, brown rice and a can of crushed tomatoes and let it all cook together. Bit of a change from the norm.
I just had to come on here and say that these boards are awsome and the plethera of information available here is great. From the stickies at the top to the pros they have advising people I am forever gratefull to everyone for everything I have learned. I know I'm no pro but I feel like I can debate people about food issues and all the trimmings to it with confidence, and boy does that help in my life. But I just wanted to say thanks everyone and am inviting you to check out my progress in the gallery. Its not much but I feel like I've climbed a mountain and can't wait to hit my future goals.
