In my imagination.
This is becoming ridiculous considering that I was overweight most of my life. I started cutting a year ago, and in 3 months I went from 240 to 200 on the dot. I have been trying to bulk to 210 for almost 3 months now, but I can't even gain 1 damn pound. Maybe you guys could look at my diet and recommend tips.

(9:00am)
Meal 1: 1/2 cup of Oatmeal dry (covered with splenda and cinnamon)
1.5 scoops of whey
1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil
Fat: 20g
Carbs: 27g
Protein: 32g

(12:00pm)
Meal 2: 1 cup of Oatmeal
1.5 scoops of whey
1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil
Fat: 20g
Carbs: 27g
Protein: 32g

(3:00pm)
Meal 3: Chicken breast OR Pork loin
1 scoop of whey
Large salad made with lettuce, tomatoes, broccoli, and baby spinach
Fat: 4g
Carbs: 40g
Protein: 70g

(6:00pm)
Meal 4: Chicken breast on two slices of whole grain wheat breed
Fat: 5g
Carbs: 30g
Protein: 50g

(9:00pm)
Meal 5: 1/2 lb of large curd cottage cheese
Fat: 15g
Carbs: 12g
Protein: 40g

This plan is fairly cheap, and I like all of these foods so I eat this at least 4 days a week. On days that I don't, I substitute Go Lean cereal for the Oatmeal and double up on the cottage cheese.
Every Saturday I eat Chinese buffet for lunch, where I eat 3 to 4 plates of salmon, broccoli, boiled or baked seafood, and chicken.
I am 6"2, and I haven't done cardio for the time that I have tried to bulk. I would think anybody would gain weight on this diet. Maybe I should invest in a weight gainer of some kind, because I can not cram in anymore food.

I also forgot to add in the fact that I drink 3 gallons of milk a week.
Breaking it down to 3 gallons averaged over 7 days is the following per day.
Fat 34g
Carb 82g
Pretein 55g

I will try your recommendations, but please tell me
what is the advantage of fish oil caps of flaxseed oil?

theres a bunch of science behind it, but in laymans terms:

basically fish oil doesnt have to be converted to get the quality efa's that flax seed oil does.

More bang for your buck basically.

that's 2800 cals and you weight 210 lbs. If you want to gain you have to eat more. My guess is that you starved your body (unknowingly) to lose weight and now you're metabolism is speeding back up to normal and burning everything you give it.

Do what foreman suggested...but also
Did you ever think that you may have been losing fat and gaining muscle??

If you would take measurements then you would have a better idea of what is going on.

Actually what Foreman suggested looks pretty good. That Muscle Milk post on the other hand........not worth it.

Yogurt and Fruit would be good additions as well. Another thing, I can see why you aren't gaining much. Only 34G Fat - you should be getting closer to 60-70G of fat. Also, your carbs are too low. Try more like 200G to start ;)

Oh, one more thing .............the fish oil is better for you in terms of Omega 3 fatty acids, however I would add the fish oil and continue with your flax oil. Flax also has omega 6 fatty acids. Add some olive oil as well too :)

I LOVE Yogurt and fruit, so this will be an easy change for once. Thanks for the info, also Flax has omega 9 fatty acids, but I am still gonna order some fish oil caps.
