my poor quad... PIP kills

injecting into virgin muscles for the first time. used a 25g 1.5" needle for my right quad (250mg GP test E). just basically went for it and put the needle in, was being careful not to move it around. aspirated, injected, and then slowly pulled out.

almost immediately my quad started to ache. used a heat pad for a while and foam rolled my quad, it didnt hurt bad until the next day. its still sore from monday morning, i did legs today kind of powered through my workout with a good amount of pain.

is a 1.5" too long for my quads? i have pretty low BF around 10%.

instead of just jabbing myself should i just put it against my skin and go in slowly to make sure im not moving it around too much?
 
i use 1.5 on my quads and chest.

i would advise against foam rolling after pinning.. just sounds like ur asking for a world of hurt

i jab the first 1/4 inch of the pin in and then guide it using the momentum of the jab to penetrate deep into the muscle.


i havent aspirated in over 150 pins tho... should probably start doing that again
 
25g is probably why your getting pain. 23g is money. Yes it is bigger but you do not have to squeeze the hell out of the stick to get it to inject. This makes it easier and smother for the oil to go in with less risk of you turning the pin and a shit load of directions. Virgin muscle is virgin muscle also...

Finally how relaxed are you while pinning sounds like your a lil timid to pin. Post people I know that place the pin to there leg then put it in do it from being a lil timid. Just go with it and punch that shit in and be relaxed. If your tense that could cause it or you could have gone through some nerves.

25g is really flimsy too i hate it. aspirating was impossible because the needle is so small

and yeah it was my first injection so i admit i was a little timid. couldnt get over the fact that i was just stabbing myself in the leg lol. i was standing up when i pinned, my quad might have been too stiff. maybe ill lay my leg flat down on my bed next time to make sure its relaxed
 
It will get better bro. First couple times with quads were a killer. Try delts....i never get any pain from them.

I used 1.5" and swore I'd never do quads again. I switched to 1" and was immediately better. Getting better and better. On my 6th quad pin now with close to 0 pip.

I think you will like this bro. I went to the local Wal Mart and purchased a car buffer for $23, and use it to loosen up before workout, also soar muscles, and PIP. Works great on scar tissue, and much better than a foam roller. I haven't felt this good in a long time. Only help you will need is doing your back. Do not use it on bone.
 
Yup, it ain't fun, my man. Just gonna have to be mindful of your goals and keep pushing through.

I sit in a chair or on the toilet when doing my quad.

This is the right plan, for sure. Just sit down, flex your leg a couple times to determine where you'll pin (place one hand on your waist, and one hand at your knee; you'll pin at that halfway point), then relax entirely. Take a couple deep breathes, and plunge it on in.

I too had terrible pip after pinning quads the first 2 times but then lo and behold it stopped. That virgin muscle thing. Also I use 25gx1'' on quads, everyone has their fav's. I always warm my oil first, makes it slide right through that 25.
 
Damn thanks for all the replies guys. Going for the glutes later today hopefully that'll go better. Gonna take a hot shower before to loosen up.
 
Fck the 25g needles. Just did my glute shot and had to readjust my grip because the damn 25g needle is impossible to push and I knicked the needle and it hurt like hell. Wouldn't have been a fucking problem if it didn't take me 45 seconds to inject.
 
I used to like 25g or 23g...but since I started TRT my doctor had his nurse show me how to inject at home since I never done it before ;)

Well They use 22g 1" needles and I have to say it works great. You can inject as fast as you want within comfort. I am going to order some 1.5" needles from GPZ so I can do glute injections. My BF is probably too high for 1" to be ok for a glute shot. So my point is 1-1.5" 22g needle is money! And they dont hurt either. I also have very little or no soreness in my quads. Back when I used to pin UG stuff with 25g or 23g needs I used to get sore as hell!

Idk about other people but I pin much higher and towards the outside. Ever since I started doing that I never have had my leg spasm or even any pip from prop or anything. Not sure if it's just me, but someone else advised me and it made a hell of a difference. I was ready to quit pinning quads because it felt like a damn donkey kicked me.
 
^ I also pin in the top 1/3 of my quad on the outside. Little or no pain during or after.
 
ive only been pinning for 5wks. so i am still a noob, but im loving slin pons. quad injects were cripling me! im piining trenAce every day so, ive hit about everybodypart just for experience. 28g slin pins are absolutely painless. i cant realy feel them at all.sticking the upper 1/3rd of lateral quad. been using on quads/delts/pecs.

How do you draw it up through that small pin? Doesn't it take forever to inject? You must have like no bodyfat if that needle is long enough to give IM injections.

I draw the oil out with a 20g needle (flows like water), then pop on a 25g for injecting. Never been a problem. Yeah, you have to apply a significant load of pressure especially with certain brands of tren, but it ain't no thing. Just push that mawfaw. Takes probably 25 seconds total, and that's because I ease it in real slow.

BTW, when you say you knicked the needle...on what? Just a nerve? I've done that, and my quad jerks uncontrollably real quick. Just hold the needle steady and keep pushing.
