I have a feeling that Kobe will try to take over the game early, the other 4 mannequins, er, Lakers will stand around and watch. Kobe will be gassed by halftime and the Celts will smoke them in the third quarter.
I can still cancel the bet before the game starts, but I have my entire account at Celtics -5 right now.

The more and more I read into it, the less and less I think the Celts cover here but I do this constantly and usually kick myself post game for going against my gut.
Perhaps 5 is too many points, it'd be hell rooting for the Celts to win but not by more than 5... Maybe moneyline is the way to go?

Sorry I can't help you, sox. I don't gamble on sports and if you've noticed my results in the football playoffs pool, you'd understand.
I can say that on Jordans era the nba wasnt as competative as it is now, but still I know Kobe had Shaq as his side kick on his championship years. Kobes numbers are up there with Jordan, But so far Kobe without shaq hasnt produced jelwery.

I hate to admit it, but the 9:00 start times are too late for me since I am up at 5:00 every morning and I hardly watched any of the series. I did DVR last night's game though and look forward to watching the Kobe ass kicking tonight.

Don't be a pussy. I get up at 5am everyday for work and i have stayed up for every game. Yes, that means going to bed at 12am.

my dad is the same way and he's in his 50's. I am saddened that i have no one to watch the redsox or celtics games during late nights since my dad started hitting the hay early.(Yes, it's nice watching games with friends but it is not as enjoyable than it is with my dad. We talk non-stop and think the exact same things when certain circumstances happen. If you've read about Bill Simmons and his father, i'd say we're about the same as they are).
My Dad will stay up and watch the games with me, but he'll fall asleep all day at random times.. seriously, he'll get his 3-6 hours a night and then bump it up to 6-9 with random 30 minute cat naps..
