Hello, the last 2 weeks i have been using the gym.

I'm 6 foot and around 75kg in weight. I dont have much muscle at all really atm.

I do have some fat around my midsection and "love handles".....

I go to the gym every day and intend on keeping it up everyday....

People tell me that i cannot lose fat while gaining muscle....bbut i really feel i need to even myself out because my arms and shoulders are real small.

I'm far from "Fat"....

So what sohlud i do? Shhould i bulk or lsoe weight? Bulk then lose the weight? or lsoe the weight then start fresh?

Also if i'm going to lose the weight first want to reccomend a diet? I find it VERY hard to burn more calories in the gym than i east a day...

Any help at all please? I'm real confused and it;s anoyying because i want to get ym ehad focused.

Ty :)

If you havent been involved in a regular intensive exercise program before, you CAN lose some fat while gaining muscle, but only for a little while. These are the golden "newbie gains" that everybody misses :P.

My advice would just to concentrate on a well rounded program to get a good base in lifting (check out the stickied topics at the top of the training section), get a good diet program regardless of whether you want to lose or gain weight because you cant fuel a supercar with rat piss (nutrition section).

Youll probably find you'll "even out" through increased muscle mass, activity levels, and eating the right stuff. If your bf% isnt terrible to begin with, you should be fine IMO. If a year down the line you want to lose even more fat, then do a cut then.

I think its more intelligent to get a good base in conditioning and general fitness before you start messing about with cutting or bulking TBH.

As long as you lift and eat right, you shouldnt need to worry about that stuff for a little while at least
