I am 6' 2" 285. Preety big guy. Not sure what my BF% is but I am trying to get down to about 245ish. I do cardio 6 times a week. I need opinions on what kind of diet I should use. I eat about 2000 calories a day. Is there any thing I should be doing or taking to help me get the weight down? I dont have any health conditions or anything that would prevent me from achieving my ideal weight. Any help would be great. Also, very new to this site but so far so good on everything i've read.

2000 cals a day isnt enough for someone who weighs 285 i dont think. you will lose muscle if your not careful. do you lift weights as well as cardio? if so then whats your workout look like? IF you eat 2k cals a day, how many grams of protein/fat/carbs?

jump on fitday and youll get a quick idea where your diet is. how long have you been working out? it doesnt just fall off.
