If you're working out late in the evening then really cut down on the oats because that's a carb issue. Instead of a full cup of oats have about as much as would fit in a protein scoop, then have two scoops of whey, and two tablespoons of natural peanut butter, mix this up with skim milk, for consistency you can throw in some plain yogurt. Very good for late night recovery and an end of the day balance of your nutrition.

Also this is not a full meal, you should have a full size meal right after you work out, have something downsized about 20 minutes after you finish. Then an hour later have your meal.

that all lloks like junk food besides the grapes.. Are they bad?

Hey if you're looking for a fast responding carb food that's not all that bad for you, raisens and bananas are the best. If you're fighting off a slump or something just throw back two of those little boxes of raisens (you all know what I'm talking about) or have a banana.

A popular one is a mashed up banana between two pieces of whole wheat bread or toast.

my point was that basically a lot of junk foods are perfect for high GI carbs. It might look like "junk food", but for achieving a high GI spike(which I think is useless), they're the better of the of the group.

They can have some use if you're really active at work or something and you're an hour or two away from your next meal, but a point should be made that half of one pop tart, or one small banana is all you need, any more than that is just junk you don't need.

'stickies'

I would have to agree.

Please read the stickies at the top of this forum called "Guide to Cutting, Bulking" etc.... That will get you started.

i'm having a heck of a time navigating this website. what are stickies, are they at the top of this page or the 'diet and nutrition' page? i can't find the 'guides to cutting, bulking'....

thanks.
