I'm heavily into MA but, however I'd like to be a little leaner. I have a tire tube that I just can't seem to get rid of. I'm 35 yo and it's very hard to get rid of. I'm currently taking Xandrine, Cell tech, and 100% whey. I workout everyday but, I need some real pros input. Can someone help me?

I need to know what your diet and workout routine is...and FYI...Cell Tech is loaded with sugar and can keep that "tire tube" around your waist!

Wouldn't taking creatine and a fatburner kinda cancel each other out? I would just take xandrine and some glutmine or something like that and up the cardio.

every morning I run 2 miles. @0430am. Eat a bagle (no cream cheese) two eggs and a cup of coffee.
@ work: I crunch and crunch and crunch (crunches)
Mon: Upper body and Abs
Tues: Legs and Abs
Wens: Back and Abs
Thru:Upper body and abs
Fri: Legs and Abs
After work:
Run 2 miles
eat a lite salad
Goto bed.
Sat: Rest
Sun: Rest
I forgot Lunches:
Usually, a chicken Breast or Pasta and Salad

It looks to me that you need to get your workout and diet regimen in better order. Group your bodyparts like this...

chest/delts/abs
lats/low back/traps/calves
off
quads/hams/add and abductors/abs
bis/tris/forearms/calves

You need to eat 5-6 meals per day. You need at least 1 gram of protein per lb of bodyweight. Carbs should be eaten in the morning and post workout. Other meals should be protein and veggies. Don't be afraid to eat some healthy fats on non-carb meals. Drink tons of water!

Do cardio on an empty tummy in morning or after training.

Hey I'm not a pro, but why are you working your abs so much? They are a muscle just like the rest of your body and you're not working everything everyday. Give your abs a rest. I would say working them no more than twice a week should be adequate.

Thanks for the replies. I t work my abs so much because I actually thought it would help get rid of the tire. My poll doesn't relate to the question. When I did the poll I had forgotten my question, then I went back and asked the question.hahaha sorry...

There is no such thing as "spot reduction", working your abs will not get rid of the fat on them. A proper diet will.

Absolutely true!!!! You would be better off spending your time doing "big" exercises like deadlifts, bench press, and squats, than all that ab work. That spare tire will be taken care of with proper diet, cardio, and to a lesser extent, supplements. Work the abs no more than 2-3 times per week.

It can be if done correctly....

...lay down on your back, and have someone hold a slice of pizza in the finish position of a crunch. Then crunch up, hold, take a bite, and go back down slowly. Repeat until the desired amount of slices are eaten (which for me would be 7-8...ouch my abs hurt already!).

    well it worked, i did abs like that this last night. thanks GP..:thumb:

Glad I could help. Do it that way and you can eat pizza everyday!

So that I understand, it's not a good idea to work abs a lot?
Ok... your the pros. I've started working them every other day. I actually feel a liitle better also. Now, I don't feel like I'm killing myself. Thanks. I also need a good leg routine....
Thanx
