They said thismorning that 9 of the 13 BIG internet computers were crashed by hackers but were only down for under an hour.
shit...lucky I was already at work!

They say the system stays up until 8 out of 13 A-roots become unaccessible .. they got up to 5 this time.

If everybody were to run a decent antiviral program, things like this

Actually antivirus programs won't stop DOS attaches. But they would stop alot of the stupid email virus's.
yeah, but at the volume they said they got hit with, even that will be slowed to a crawl.
imagine if the internet got put out of commission, even if it were only for a day.

yeah no kidding, all the business's. and financial transactions that everybody does online every day. It would be horrible now days. Kinda sad when you think about it. How dependant so many have become on computers and the internet.
