New cycle: Test Prop, NPP (with possible addition of GH and Slin)

Hi guys.

Not posted on here for a long time, but I used to frequent the boards many moons ago. Recognise some old faces and a lot of new ones, so bear with me if I'm a bit rusty.

So, in the last two years or so I’ve run two cycles – which I’ll get to in a minute – and I am looking to run another once I sort the particulars and am 100% in what I’m doing.

The proposed cycle is Test Prop and NPP, pinning EOD (with the possible addition of Mast). I’m also contemplating including GH and slin. However, again, I’ll get to that in a minute once I’ve jotted down my stats and previous AAS experience.

Stats:
  • Age: 32
  • Weight approx: approx. 230lbs
  • Height: 6’
  • Years lifting: 16 (10 years natural, 6 years using PHs or AAS)
  • Train: 3-4 times a week

Previous dabblings in PHs/AAS over the last 6 years:
  • 5-week cycle of M1T
  • 8-week cycle of Hdrol
  • 8-week cycle of 1-Andro RX
  • 8-week cycle of Tbol and 1-Tren (transdermal)
  • 12-week cycle of test enan (500mg/wk) with 5-week Tbol kickstart
  • 20-weeks low Test Prop, high Tren A (200mg/800mg weekly) bridged with sust for about 3 weeks in the middle due to travels.
  • HCG and aromasin run throughout both injectable cycles

PCT
  • PHs – nolva/clomid
  • Test enan – clomid, nolva
  • Test prop/Tren A – Clomid, HMG, Triptorelin and GH

Of course diets can always be better, but I feel the last one was pretty bang on the money. I can go into that in greater detail if you want, but for now will press on with the AAS side of things.

I think that’s enough background, however, if y’all need any more info, holla.

So, the upcoming cycle
I am considering competing June 2015. For now I am just going to train my ass off and bulk for a few months and then see where I am. Then if all’s going well and I’m in a good enough place, I’ll press on.

I am thinking Test Prop and NPP. I like that Prop’s fast-acting, and despite it being a pain to pin more frequently, I prefer the more stable blood levels. This kept lethargy at bay unlike the previous Test Enan cycle plus my libido was insane – loved it. The gains were awesome too, going from 212lbs 256lbs (that was 212lbs from a long lay-off from training, mind).

I would use tren A again as it’s such an amazing compound, however, it did make me turn into a bit of an arsehole (probably high dose didn’t help), so my mrs has ruled that drug out. She understands it will inevitably play a role if I do carry on to compete, but she doesn’t want me on it any more than I have to be. NPP seemed the next best option. I’ll be on till June, but for now I’m thinking this:


  • 600mg Test Prop/400mg NPP each week, bumping it up to 800mg and 500mg respectively when it’s settled in.
  • Aromasin and HCG while on
  • Also have other ancillaries such as caber, anti-inflamatories, high BP tabs etc.

If gains are still coming nicely on lower dose, won’t feel the need to increase. Was thinking about adding Masteron as everyone in my gym raves about it, but for bulking purposes I’m assuming it’s superfluous and just eating into oil volume that prop or NPP could use. Then there's the next potential addition...

Slin and GH

Okay, so I used GH as part of my PCT for my last cycle and continued use for about 7 months after. This time I want to use it while on. While I appreciate GH and gear has a synergistic relationship, I’m on the understanding that GH and Slin have a much better one. Therefore I have quite an interest in using slin on this run too.

First and foremost, Slin scares me. Some say it’s too risky unless you're a pro, others say it’s fine if understood, administered properly and has the correct precautions in place. I’ve read through Mike’s Protocol and currently going through basskiller regarding the matter, but still a bit perplexed by specific aspects.

So far, this is my plan:


  • 5ius GH 30mins pre-workout
  • 6ius Slin 15mins pre-workout
  • A few mins later, have 30g isolate/50g carbs shake, followed by another carb-rich shake to sip during workout. Then about an hour after training a low-to-zero fat, high protein, high carb meal when getting home. Will also have glucose tabs/soda etc on hand in case any foul ups. Have a slin BS monitor too. Will be using NovoRapid which I believe is the fast-acting type.

I have a busy schedule with work so ideally just want a one-shot slin I can do either pre-workout or post-workout – basically whatever’s the simplest/safest way to work it around the working day/evening gym session.

So, a few questions

1. Test Prop and NPP doses good? Worth going high NPP and low test?
2. Worth adding Masteron to the cycle?
3. Bearing in mind I train about 7pm in the evening, is NovoRapid the best sort of slin? Is there a better/easier way to include it? Is another type of slin better? Is it better to leave this stuff well alone?

Feel free to ask questions, make suggestions. All help much appreciated.

Any takers? Apologies if too long-winded or I've gone against forum protocol with anything.
 
I am a huge fan of taking NPP high with test low because my best cycle with the lowest sides was done this way. You might want to give it a try just to see what you think, for you. And slin is something I'm not willing to mess with so I can't say anything there...
 
Oh, since you're going to be on for so long, have you considered EQ? Some people love it when it can be used for a long cycle
 
Yeah, I ran tren hight and test low and had great results. Libido was through the roof and only sides were from the tren (I think) with paranoia at times, interrupted sleep and sweats. I know NPP, despite its similarities to tren, still reacts differently. Did you find it interfered with your sex drive? Don't want my dick to pack up, nor does my mrs, ha.

I've not been near EQ as heard it can cause blood clots if you tan it for a while. Slin is still something I'm contemplating, but not 100% on. Don't want to get that stuff wrong so more reading needs to be done first methinks.

I had no sexual problems whatsoever. In fact I woke up with morning wood 90% of the time and felt great.

*your results may vary! I am sure more people will chime in. I'm interested in the other opinions as well
