Im new to this and i don't know anyone to tell me what i need to know. So I will tell you my goals and reasons and any information will be useful.

Alright I'm in the US I weigh 190 and am 6 feet tall.
I will be training for MMA So I want to gain as much strength with minimal weight. Lots of lean muscle. My other dilemma is no matter how much protein and other supplements my body takes forever to recover.

I basically need the
What
How much
where to

I plan to do two 8 week cycles over then next 8 months after i get all of the info i need.

Jason

if you want ill pm you my e mail

What kind of protein are you getting it and when are you getting it?

Any BCAAs? What about PWO?

i was taking syntha- 6 rtd, cretin 1250mg, axis-ht, and amplified whyebolic extreme 60. everyday. for exercises i was doing crossfit, and martial arts

This is easy; take your bodyweight, multiply by 1.2 and that is the protein requirement. Then, track your diet on FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal or All Things Food and Diet - FatSecret and if you dont move in weight for 2 weeks, you have your maintenance calories. Decide what kind of exercise best suits your goals. I'd say something with compounds-hang cleans, deads, squats, military presses (or push presses), benches, etc. You want to keep it to explosive moves that require a lot of energy to perform. Lastly, I cant understand why you have to do cycles, because it sounds like you dont really have any experience in any type of sports related training, except that you want to do MMA fighting. Use 5g of creatine and you'll be fine.

I have played hockey forever, so I know all the training for that sport, but its not even close to MMA. And to clear that up I was doing MMA but i kept hurting myself from over training and missed any chance of getting a fight this summer because I was always sore. I had a lot of people tell me i should do a couple cycles to get my bodies toughness at the same level as my mental toughness.

No. Just no.

lol, alright well if you guys don't think thats a good idea ill trust you. You know more than me, so with that. I've just been taking the above mentioned supplements, what do you guys think are the best for putting on minimal weight with maximum strength.

Iv been doing mma for 8+ years amature since 2003 and pro since 2006 if your training correctly for a fight you will always have bumps and bruises and be sore thats the nature of the sport nobodys ever 100% for a fight far as making your body tougher do just that body conditioning first being tough will not make you good at mma it helps but technique is what is important i spar and roll with nfl lineman and guys who bench 600lb and beat them up because of technique i dont even lift weights and being strong in mma dosent mean how much you can bench or sqaut its how long you can go. Your best hold is conditioning (Karl Gotch) you should look into preventing lactic acid build up and do high rep body weight workouts i would want to be doing 500 hindu sqauts straight in 12-15 min before even starting a 10 week camp for a fight also train interval training for your heart and lungs like interval sprints you tube tabata or grapple fit thats pretty good training for mma but modify the tabata for mma i dont like crossfit for mma its good for what its called being crossfit its not mma fit but you can modify some of those workouts also for mma pm and i can help you put a program together if you want

Yeah a lot of that is what my gym does. The crossfit program is modified for the fighters so there are a lot of tweaks that the coaches have added. All my martial arts and crossfit are in the same training center.

Sweet, best of skills (i dont believe in luck) in your career and always train like your next fight is against Fedor and you cant go wrong

Take a look at your keyboard. See the key with the right side arrow and the little dot on the bottom of said key location? That's a period. Try using it.

I can read that just fine. but i cant pm because i only have 5 posts but here was what i tried to send you I have a pretty good workout program already in place. But my supplements are rough and i know that. Probably why i just wanted to skip that all and try anabolic. What types of sups would you recommend. if you send me one i can reply i think

Hockey, my Favorite team is the Alaska Aces(ECHL) for the NHL I don't really have a favorite team. I like the caps, and the sharks

Well i guess i don't like the caps as much as the sharks, I just like Ovi, but i hate that lil fag Crosby
