Ah, hello everyone.
Well I am fairly new to the site, first post but I have been reading for a while. Attempting to get informed as much as possible before looking like a knucklehead... oh well here it goes.
6'-3 - 198 lbs, not sure on BF, not crazy high, but not crazy low... I would guess it at 17%... total stab. I have been doing some lifting (no real routine) at home with cardio 3 days a week.
My goals are similar to most, add Lean muscle but I also think I have 10-15 lbs to lose.... so I understand they don't really go together... apparently you are cutting or bulking? If I had to pick at this point I guess cutting would be it. I am not sure how long one typically cuts either.
All in all I am looking for a full body workout I can do at home.... I have all 7 days a week to work out as after the kids go to bed at 8 pm I can watch TV and get fat or workout..... I would prefer a split type routine, something like 3-4 days a week?
I only have the following items at home:
Bench press - free weights
Curl bar
Adjustable dumbbells up to 50 lbs each
chin up bar
I have 1 last issue (well in regards to this subject)... I like to do cardio, I play hoops as much as I can because I really like it. I know some don't really approve of doing it, but maybe in a cutting phase it would be ok?
Oh.... and I don't think I ever eat enough, I have seen the meal plans here and wow they seem like a lot. I try to eat at 1800-2000 cals a day and that has seemed to keep me at a steady weight.
Basically 2 things - I need a split routine I can do at home and I am not sure if I should cut or bulk, can't really do both...correct?
