I am new on here. Been working out for years with the US Army. Almost time to retire. 19 years and counting. God permitting maybe 10 more!!
Always looking to try and get bigger and more ripped. Love hitting the gym as hard as I can. Was doing good this year until recently I lifted the wrong way on deadlifts and hurt my back. Doesn't help that I have degenerative disc disease which just means that in 30 years I will have to get my discs replaced (like 3 of them). But for now I want to get ripped. My hardest to gain areas are my stomach(love handles) and legs (particularly calves). I have some sticks for legs. Running and doing pushups for years and a lot of other crap in the army has led to bad knees and also had shoulder surgery so sticking to light weights for the chest (for now) is what I do.
ANY ideas for getting rid of those love handles once and for all (besides lipo) will help this old guy.

Hello and welcome aboard. You'll need a combination of proper nutrition and exercises that induce the necessary hormonal changes to trigger fat loss around your abdomen so that your body can stop storing your excess fat (i.e. love handles).

Welcome to IM! I agree with bobbli. Start your research in the training & nutrition forums. Give them your stats (age, bf, height/weight, training experience, sample daily meals, etc) and they will get you straight.
