Just because someone may be poor, doesnt mean they will loot and be bad, and just because someone is rich doesnt mean they will be a good person. The people in the picture are just parasites to society. This isnt a race issue either, its an ethical one.

Exactly. A person's true character comes out when the camera isn't on them. Not only are these people taking what they want (key word want, not need), they are distracting the rescue teams, costing lives.

By "poor upbringing" I meant "Bad parenting", I grew up poor the first part of my childhood as well but my father kept my brother and I in line.

You mix growing up with nothing all your life and having not been taught values and you get these people who are looting.

I was born in the Bronx in 1965 and my parents took us out of there when the Bronx was burning back in 1970.
I grew up in both poor and middle class neighborhoods. So I at least got to see both worlds.
The sad thing is that there are innocent little kids who are caught in this rat race.

I remember moving in with my ex in Williamsburg Brooklyn, fucked up neighborhood. Hookers on the street carrying AIDS, lines a block long with business men,bikers, thugs and kids waiting for their heroin.
I used to visit my in-law next door and they had this beutiful little girl, she was so was innocent the poor child...it's a pity that in order for her to get into her building she had to hop over needles and human shit...yes human feces.
Her parents finally saved enough money to move out of there, but tell me what can a child learn from that environment where you are treated like you don't matter. You start to think that there is nothing to look forward in life.

Well anyway the little girl is now a big lady doing very well for herself....but she is still one tough bitch.
