Hey folks, I am new to the forums, and hope to benefit greatly from the advice given here.
So let me tell you all a little about myself. I am 5'8" and about 210 lbs. 36 years old. I started lifting when I was about 16, and have done so off and on for the past 20 years.
3 years ago I was in 2 automobile accidents in about 3 months, one I flipped my SUV on an icy road and the next one I was t-boned and lucky to escape both of the accidents with only minor injuries, but my shoulder has been messed up ever since.
I was out of the gym and lifting for 2 years and I went from about 160 lbs to 200 lbs, and about 25% bodyfat. I decided to get back to the Gym at the beginning of last year to lose weight and try to get back into decent shape.
Once at the gym, seeing the other guys lifting heavy, the lifting bug, and the ego kicked in, and my goals changed. I wanted to get big, and lose fat at the same time.
So to make a long story short, (probably to late for that) Here I am today, 10-15 lbs heavier than when I started, my waste went from about 36 inches to about 33 inches right now, my arms went from about 15 inches to about 18 inches now, and my legs are now about 28 inches.
I feel much better, but I want to get bigger and stronger while getting my waste to under 32 inches. so I am thinking about trying aas, even though the idea of sticking myself with a needle, even though I am not sick still seems a little strange to me.
Anyway that's the long and the short of it. I hope to learn a lot here, and help contribute as my knowledge and experience grows.
