Check out these new tires that are airless yet the spokes allow it to bend to potholes or curbs and absorb shock. If these ever catch on that would be sweet.

I didnt read everything about them, but couldnt it still shred?

something could tear the tire still and make it strip off of the spokes.....maybe?

Possibly, but what causes blow outs is air pressure, with no air pressure the rubber could be cemented to the spoke system and anything that shreds that you probably deserved it for driving over it, it'd have to be something like a field of lava rock.
