Convicted felon charged in Occupy Oakland shooting

A convicted felon is facing accessory charges in the shooting death of a man near the former Occupy Oakland encampment outside City Hall.
Thirty-one-year-old Issac McDaniels is expected in Alameda County Superior Court on Thursday to enter a plea to charges of assault and being an accessory to the killing of 25-year-old Kayode Ola Foster.
Police say Foster was shot on Nov. 10 during a fight, possibly over alcohol. He had had been staying at the anti-Wall Street site in Oakland for at least two weeks.
Twenty-year-old Norris Terrell, the alleged shooter, has been charged with murder. Three other men have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly beating Foster before the shooting.
McDaniels has also been charged in a separate sex assault in Oakland.
