I'm very confused about how to diet for off-season football training, my goals are to increase leg power/speed and overall strength. So far I've come up with a 45/45/10 diet, but I just don't know if I need to maintain or bulk for this or be right in the middle. I'm 165 and what I am thinking right now is 2520 calories a day 280g protein, 280g carbs, & 28 grams fat.
Has anyone had any experience with training for football and know what to do for a diet cuz I'm just flat out knowledge-less about it?
