right now i have two options that i want to go in, i need to decide next year

this year im taking all history classes because i might want to be a History teacher

last year and Next year im taking all business classes because i want to open up my own pizza shop..

what do you guys think? do i have dreams i can actually obtain? and do theses choices seem worthy?

id like if some of you older guys put your two cents in

i really dont want to be working a labor job like construction because when im 50+ years old i dont wanna be doing that shit or its almost a dead end job its self cuz u will be working hard everyday

i want to own capital like a pizza shop/sports bar/ restaurant something like that i know that would be trendmous hard work to get it going and started but i think id enjoy managing it , Or be a history teacher because im deeply in love with history

Education is tough these days due to the lack of funding. A lot of teachers getting laid off. I've been working as an English Teacher at the secondary level for the past ten years. Hopefully, things will change for the better in the next few years. Good for you for planning for the future at such a young age. Good luck!

Do this: figure out how much the lifestyle you would like is going to cost you. Do a detailed list, look up budget sites to plan this out - rent/mortgage, transportation, food, entertainment, wardrobe, recreation, medical/physio/dental, gym membership, supplements, girlfriend/wife/kids/pets, savings, retirement plan, insurance... everything that life will cost you.

Now work backward from this figure - divide it by .7 (to account for taxes, union dues, whatever) and find a job that will pay that within ten years.
