Well since you decided to reimage, I guess that's it then. Don't download crap from random websites anymore.

If your computer is back to normal....delete all previous system recovery images to make sure you never recover an image with viral infections inside. It's another preventative step that people forget to do.

Those keygen sites will push all sorts of crap at you pc. I've found that AVG while good for a freeware program (better than nothing) isn't quite up to snuff when it comes to sites like that. I'd say get something a little heavier handed when it comes to antivirus like the ones I mentioned....Nod32 or Kaspersky....especially if you are going to use bittorrents and the like.

You may need to run your AV several times because some virus are good at regenerating if they're not properly cleaned. Running several AV programs would be a good idea right now.
