About to start my first test e cycle (500mg/week x 16 weeks) was wondering what you guys could recommend for acne i tend to break out easy. I've used acnedren on ph cycles seems to have worked a little bit was wondering if there's other options out there..

Acne is often caused by hormone changes - like going on/off cycle.

Things like washing in anti acne soaps or dawn dish soap have been helpful. Keeping e2 under control is also key. Finally, you can resort to things like accutane if it gets really bad, but the drug route can have bad side effects.

The most important thing to start with is to keep your AI right on the money. Don't let your E2 get out of hand even once. It's easier to keep it under control than to get it back under control. Good luck.

A minor supplement you can throw in the mix is Vitamin B5 / Pantothenic Acid. If you get a break out you can load that for a few days (e.g. 2000 mg) and see if it helps. The other usual topical stuff - salicylic acid, Vit B5 cream, etc.

Cool thanks for the input guys I'll make sure to stay on top of my adex dosing and I'll pick up another bottle of acnedren!

As another member said vitamin B5 will help. It shrinks the pores and helps with oil reduction. 4-5g daily for 1 week to start, then 2-3G daily thereafter for maintenance. Hormone fluctuations will cause acne, it sucks, but it's just the way it is. Salicylic cream, wipes, etc also help a lot. I use clearasil 2% Salicylic acid wipes twice daily after I shower, and they do a good job. I've used accutane 4x and I still get mild acne sometimes. Salicylic acid is made from white willow which is also where aspirin is derived from. It not only dries out the pores and cleans them, but it reduces inflammation and redness also. If you have super sensitive skin, they also make 1% wipes too, to not over dry and cause even not irritation. don't miss pins, that can cause more problems too, due to even more hormones fluctuations. Ever wince I've switched to pinning with insulin syringes, pinning every single day, yes even with long esters, my acne has greatly decreased and is 100% manageable :) less scar tissue too, because you're only using 29g pins rather than fat 23g ;)
